JML are one of the UK’s largest shopping channels
and biggest direct marketing companies. Having created
dozens of 3d graphics for JML’s infomercials, we
were asked to design and create channel idents for their
two new channel launches.
The sequences featured people using a variety of JML
products. SquareZero shot all blue-screen live action
for the sequences.
The grass, sky, logo and ribbon were all created in
3d. Live action elements were chroma keyed in Shake
then also imported into the 3d environment.
Shadows and grading plus all finishing was done in
Shake. Audio and cut down versions were brought together
in Final Cut Pro.
