Viasat commisioned SquareZero to make four promos for
Sweden’s TV6 on air campaign. The spots are based
around the channel’s caretaker - an unlucky and lonely
robot called T6.
Jon Ossitt and David Elices used Maya to rig and animate
the robot. rendering in Mental Ray to create the dramatic
basement lighting of the robot’s home.
There were many VFX involved from sparks to running
water and explosions.
Compositing and final grade was achieved using Apple’s
Shake. Peter Liljenberg was creative director.
